The main color is dark brown, chocolate. The pattern consists of various patterns of white color on the main background, most often these are longitudinal and / or transverse stripes. The eyes are large, protruding, and the limbs are long. The body is covered with small granular scales with prominent large tubercles,there is relatively large flat scales of irregular shapeon the head.

Habitat

It lives in the northern part of Madagascar.

Behavior

Reptiles lead a terrestrial lifestyle. Young individuals climb trees and walls, then they become too heavy, and their legs do not hold them.

Reproduction

The lizards become sexually mature at 6 months, females - not earlier than at 10. The first clutch of two eggs usually follows 15-20 days after mating, then the females continue to bring a clutch every 10 days. At a temperature of 26-29 oC and a humidity of 60-70%, little lizards are born in 55-65 daysfrom the clutch. The size of newborns is about 5 cm.

Their lifespan is up to 10 years.

In captivity

In captivity, it is best to keep Paroeduramasobe in pairs in medium-sized terrariums. Adult geckos are not very good climbers, but the kids are able to move on the glass. However, due to their mostly terrestrial lifestyle they need a lot of space on the ground.

As a substrate, you can use gravel, peat, paper napkins. Geckos should have a lot of pieces of bark, inverted clay bowls from flower pots, etc. which they use as a shelter.A small daily spraying of one section of the terrarium will provide suitable humidity, and a drinking bowlshould be always at their disposal.

The temperature gradient in the terrarium should allow the geckos to choose the most comfortable temperature zone. The daytime temperature is about 35 oC in a warm place and 25-27 oC in a cold place. At night, it is up to 22-24 oC, although in the summer it is within 25-26 oC.
